A MESSAGE TO ALL OF OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS

The Dodge Family, Frank, Barbara, Peter and Gidget, is very excited to share with all of our valued customers that we had a Record Breaking Maple Syrup Production Year. We have an exceptional supply of all grades of excellent quality maple syrup. At this time we are offering the same prices as last year with the exception of a few small increases in shipping and packaging costs.

We would like to share our information concerning our 2009 maple sugaring season. Now that we have all of the main lines and tubing lines in our sugar bush cleaned; our storage tanks and vacuum system cleaned and put to rest; we look back in restrospect to our disappointing 2008 low production season. The summer and fall weather of 2008 was very favorable for an excellent 2009 sugaring season with ample moisture and sun! The Maple trees were very healthy with branches heavily laden with thick, lush green leaves. March and April temperatures of 2009 were conducive to good runs of sap.

Saturday, of our OPEN HOUSE , which is always held the last week-end of March, was a beautiful warm spring day. Many visitors enjoyed the warm temperatures, sugar-on-snow, hot chocolate & coffee, as well as maple cream doughnuts. We share our photos of that day and a few other exceptional scenic views of this beautiful location where we live.

The Partridge in the photo, named Freddie or Fredericka, was a constant companion of Frank each morning as he traveled to our old Sugarhouse to check the vacuum system. It met the 4-wheeler transporting Frank, and followed downhill everyday until nesting season.
